I just got off the phone with mom and dad. Their flight from Washington Dulles was delayed an hour and a half. They leave at about 11:30.
They stop in Rome for a fuel re-fill, and then off to Addis Ababa. They arrive in Addis tomorrow morning, at 8:30 or so Ethiopian time. Please continue to pray for their saftey.

Thanks for the update... I thought they were flying to Egypt? Did it change to Rome because of the flight delays?
PLUS ~ Ethiopia is 9 hours ahead of us in Alberta... so 7 hours ahead of you guys = right?
So... that means when they are in Ethiopia tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM it is REALLY 3:30 in the afternoon in Grand Rapids = right?

Nope, they weren't going to fly to Rome. Mom thought it was Egypt but she was wrong.
Yes, Ethiopia is 9 hrs ahead of you. When they arrive in Addis it will be 8:35am Addis time and
1:30am MI time.
Yes ~ of course ~ I had added the hours to the ET time and I was supposed to SUBTRACT them!!! sigh...
Anyway ~ we're packing the last bit of stuff and leaving for Calgary in about an hour SO... we'll be joining ya'll soon!
